Project Succeed
A Conway School District’s
Before and After School Program
Serving families in the
Mount Washington Valley since 1999
Mission Statement: Project SUCCEED helps give youth the skills and opportunities they need to be successful academically, socially and emotionally in a safe and supervised environment.
Project SUCCEED (Schools Under Contract Creating Enriching Extended Days) is a before and after school program at the three Conway School District’s elementary schools. The primary goal of Project SUCCEED is to provide safe and stimulating activities during the high-risk after school hours with special attention to our most at risk youth.
Project SUCCEED:
- Keeps children safe
- Helps Working Families, and
- Improves academic achievement
Project SUCCEED just celebrated 10 years of operation in the valley and annually serves over 50% of the K-6 population and has been a major resource for low income families and at risk youth. The program helps working families in the Mount Washington Valley by providing a safe place for their children to be while the parents are at work.
Project SUCCEED offers before and after school programming which includes: a healthy snack, daily homework club with teachers and other school staff on hand to answer any questions, enrichment clubs and recreation activities. Program offerings include safe and supervised activities for students through Morning Supervision, Homework Club, Computer Lab, Enrichment Programs, Mountain Top Music, Tin Mountain Conservation Center activities and more.
Each school site, Conway Elementary, John Fuller, and Pine Tree offer extended day services up to five days per week, three hours per day to students grades K-6.
